GENERAL CONDITIONS

 

  1. TERMS OF USE. In compliance with Law 34/2002, of July 11, on services of the information society and electronic commerce, RENT AUTO MOTO S.L.U., informs you that it is the owner of the website rentautomotocalador.com. In accordance with the requirement of article 10 of the aforementioned Law, RENT AUTO MOTO S.L.U. informs of the following information: the owner of this website is RENT AUTO MOTO SLUM with CIF B07167406 and registered office C/ S’Espalmador nº 28 07660 Cala d’Or (MALLORCA) registered in the Mercantile Registry in volume 560, page 134 sheet nº 12375, registration 1.   2. GUARANTEED VEHICLE CATEGORY. When reserving a vehicle category, you are guaranteed certain characteristics that will be fulfilled by our service. Within each category there may be different car models, which it is NOT possible to guarantee said model. In case of delivering a higher category vehicle, no additional cost will be required. Likewise, we cannot guarantee the type of fuel or the color of the car.
  3. OUR RATES. The final price of the reservation made through our website includes the rental, CDW and SCDW insurance, plus VAT. In case of requesting other services that include an additional charge, these will be reflected in the final quote. In no case are fuel, fines and towing charges included in the event of an accident caused by the driver.
  4. GENERAL INSURANCE CONDITIONS. The insurance coverage for the rented vehicle extends to civil liability insurance with a maximum of 50 million euros. The use of vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods is excluded from the insurance. All insurance coverage arranged within the framework of the rental contract loses its validity, especially if the vehicle is used by an unauthorized driver, or if the driver of the vehicle does not have the driving license required at the time of the insured contingency. The reservation includes CDW insurance (compulsory third party insurance) and SCDW insurance (own damage with exceptions). The assumptions that are not included in these insurances that will be charged in case of occurrence must be taken into account. (See INSURANCE section).
  5. MINIMUM AGE OF THE DRIVER. The minimum age for renting a vehicle will be 25 years old with three years of driving license. The maximum age allowed will be 75 years.
  6. RENTAL PERIOD. A rental day will be considered from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. If the reservation is for more than one day, the car must be returned on the last day that appears in the maximum rental contract at 20:00 PM. In case the client wants to keep the car for an extra night, or wants to extend one more day, it will have an additional cost.
  7. METHODS OF PAYMENT. The customer chooses the payment method. You can pay by credit/debit card or in cash. If you choose the option to pay by card, it does not have to be in the name of the driver of the rental car, although the cardholder must be present at the time the payment is made. The payment of the reservation will be made at the time the vehicle is delivered, it is not paid in advance.
  8. TRAFFIC FINES. The client has the obligation to pay for the traffic fines that are imposed for the infractions that he has committed. The company is totally exempt from liability regarding these fines.
  9. UNLIMITED MILEAGE. The mileage during the duration of the rental contract has no additional cost, it is unlimited. The client can drive as much as they want as long as it is within the island of Mallorca. It is not allowed to take the vehicle off the island.
  10. FUEL POLICY. The client must return the rented vehicle with the same amount of fuel with which it was delivered. The fuel used during the duration of the contract will be paid by the client.
  11. DATA PROTECTION. The personal data provided by the tenant is confidential. The lessee authorizes its storage in a file owned by RENT AUTO MOTO S.L.U. who will have the duty of secrecy over them. The personal data stored will refer to: -the name, postal and electronic address, landline, mobile and fax numbers and date of birth, CIF, driving license data, customer number; -Pending charges that may be maintained with the lessor or group companies; -as well as in your case, those related to loyalty programs. Under no circumstances will subjective assessments or assessments related to the tenant’s financial situation be stored. The processing of such data is exclusively intended for the maintenance and execution of normal commercial relations and the provision of services derived from the lessor’s activity.
    The lessee consents that RENT AUTO MOTO S.L.U. send you own commercial communications by ordinary or electronic mail.
    The lessee may exercise their rights of access, deletion and correction of their personal data, as well as oppose its commercialization, use or transfer by means of a communication to the address RENT AUTO MOTO S.L.U. c/ S’Espalmador nº 28 07660 CALA D’OR (MALLORCA).
